Boneset attracts: birds, butterflies, and feeds native bees and beneficial insects that prey upon garden pests.
Boneset is found in damp prairies; floodplains, stream banks, and open woodland. Their opposite leaves are joined at the base. They are suited to moist, sunny gardens and can be quite tall so could work well planted behind shorter plants, along a fence line for seasonal privacy or against a wall. May be the perfect addition to a pond edge too! And grows well with Spotted Joe Pye
